General James M. Gavin (Gavin) and Kyger Creek Power Plants

Directions:  From Gallipolis, OH, take State Route 7 about 12 miles north.  Public access to Gavin and Kyger Creek is currently limited to approved research protocols.

Description:  Ponds at these plants are excellent for observing  waterfowl such as, swans, geese, and ducks during winter.  During summer and migratory periods various shorebirds, gulls, and terns can be present.
