MIGRATION:
Spring: Casual Migrant from mid-May to late May (Kiff et al. 1986). Recent records, 14 May 2003 (WA, MG); 17 May 1997 (HS); 24 May 2008 (WA, MG). See Remarks section.
Fall: Data insufficient. Limited banding data indicates migrants occur in mid-September to late September (Kiff et al. 1986). See Remarks section.
REMARKS:
Trail's Flycatcher Complex: The Alder Flycatcher and Willow Flycatcher were previously considered the single species Trail's Flycatcher. Separation in our area should be by song or appropriate banding criteria. Records referring to the Alder Flycatcher, in Edeburn et al. (1960), should be assigned to the Trail's Flycatcher Complex.
