WARBLERS

Blackpoll Warbler  Dendroica striata

WINTER:  NO RECORDS.

SUMMER:  Rare Migrant in early June.  Late date, 12 June 1947 (Edeburn et al. 1960).  Four on 29 August 1976 early fall migrants (HS).

MIGRATION:

 Spring:  Fairly Common Migrant from early May to late May.  See Summer section.  Early dates, 21 April 1957 (Edeburn et al. 1960); 30 April 1972 (HS).

 Fall:  Uncommon to Fairly Common Migrant from early September to early October.  Early dates, 03 September 2006 (WA, MG, MO, DP); 06 September 1981 (HS); 07 September 1975 (HS); 08 September 1973 (HS).  See Summer section.  Late dates, one banded on 08 October 1981 at Barboursville, Cabell Co., WV (HS); 08 October 2005 (WA, MG, DP); 04 October 1953 and 1957 (Edeburn et al. 1960) and 2005 (DP).
