Cedar Waxwing  Bombycilla cedrorum

WINTER:  Rare to Common Resident.  See Remarks section for CBC data.

SUMMER:  Fairly Common Resident.

MIGRATION:

 Spring:  Fairly Common to Very Common from late March to late May.

 Fall:  Uncommon to Very Common from late August to early November.

REMARKS:

This species is very erratic in occurrence and abundance for all seasons.

Nesting:  Nesting has been noted into late September in our area.  Late dates, 27 September 1975, nest with 3 young (HS) and 25 September 1997, 2 local being fed by adults (HS).
