MIGRATION:

 Spring:  Common Migrant from late March to early April.  Early dates, 10 March 1949 (Edeburn et al. 1960); 19 March 1960 (WA); 20 March 1971 (HS); 21 March 1970 (HS); 23 March 1969 (WA) 1970 (HS).

 Fall:  Fairly Common Migrant from early September to mid-October.  Uncommon Migrant in late October to mid-November.  Late dates, 27 November 2005 (MG, DP), 16 November 1970 (HS); 12 November 1968 (HS); 09 November 1970 (HS).

Breeding Bird Survey (Koch and Hurley 1972): Beech Fork Lake, Wayne Co., WV (29 May 1969): 50 Stops, 25 Mile. Number of Stops Recorded: 8. Total Birds: 10.

Breeding Bird Survey (Bullard 2003): Cabwaylingo State Forest, Wayne Co., WV (2002): 135 Stops (7 surveys), 64 Mile. Number of Stops Recorded: 19. Total Birds: 22.
