Spring: Accidental. As many as 6 from from 01 February to 03 March 2002 in Mason Co (See Winter section); three on 03 March 2007 at Gavin Power Plant (MG, DP) (See Winter section); six on 13 March 1971 at Kyger Creek Power Plant (Anderson and Hurley 1974).
Fall: Accidental. One from 02 October to 09 October 1988 at Gavin Power Plant, Gallia Co., OH (photographed, WA, MG); from 12 to 15 on 12 November 2003 in Mason Co., WV (WA); one on 16 November 2011 at Byrd Locks & Dam (WA, MG).
