SUMMER:  Common to Very Common Resident.

MIGRATION:

 Spring:  Uncommon to Fairly Common Migrant. Slack (1987) indicates migrants occur in March.

 Fall:  Uncommon to Fairly Common Migrant.  Slack (1987) indicates migrants occur in September.

REMARKS:

Roadside Survey:  Conducted from October 1977 to October 1979 (56 days in fall and winter), along WV State Rt. 2, from Ohio River Mile 287 to 296, averaged 1.2 birds per mile (Slack 1987).
