One female on 20 December 1969 at Byrd Locks & Dam (WA, HS); one on 25 December 1967 at Kyger Creek Power Plant (WA); one on 29 December 1963 (HCL) on the Ona CBC; one present from 29 to 31 December 2006 at Barboursville, Cabell Co., WV (WA, DP); four on 02 January 1982 on the Ohio River in Cabell Co., WV (GR); one from 02 January to 29 January 2007 at Barboursville, Cabell Co., WV (WA); three (2 female, 1 male) on 03 January 1985 on the Ohio River at Huntington, WV (MG); one on 30 January 1954 on the Ohio River (Mason Co., WV) at Gallipolis, OH (HKL, FF, TM) (Edeburn et al. 1960); one female on 16 February 2008 at Byrd Locks & Dam (WA, DP); one female on 18 February 2003 at Green Bottom WMA (MG).
SUMMER: NO RECORDS.
MIGRATION:
Spring: Casual Visitant since 2003. One female from 03 March (KK) to 09 March 2003 (JH, JLH) at Byrd Locks & Dam; one male from 04 March (JB) to 09 March (WA) 2005 at Milton, Cabell Co., WV; one on 16 March 2003 at Milton, Cabell Co., WV (JB).
Fall: Accidental. One male on 06 November 1985 at Kyger Creek Power Plant (MG); one female on 09 November 1969 at McClintic WMA (HS); one on 16 November 1980 on the Ohio River at Huntington, WV (GR).
