WINTER:  Casual Visitant.  Seven Records.  One on 29 December 2007 (Ona CBC); one on 16 January 2000 at Green Bottom WMA (GR); one on 27 January 2007 at Huntington, Cabell Co., WV (BD); one on 31 January 1987 (remained about 3 weeks) at Apple Grove, Mason Co., WV (MG).  Three CBC records:  Single birds on the 1983 Huntington CBC and the 1996 and 1999 Ona CBC.

SUMMER:  Casual Visitant.  One on 01 August 2008 at Byrd Locks & Dam (WA, MG); one on 19 August 2007 at Huntington, WV (BD); one on 25 August 1963 at McClintic WMA (WA, TI); one on 31 August 2005 at Byrd Locks & Dam (WA, JB, MG).

MIGRATION:

 Spring:  Casual Migrant from mid-March to mid-April.  Early dates, one on 02 March 1963 at Pt. Pleasant, Mason Co., WV (WA, LK); one on 15 March in Mason Co., WV (WA).  Late dates, one on 01 May 2005 at Lesage, Cabell Co., WV (HS); one on 21 April 2000 at Green Bottom WMA (WA); one on 20 April 1989 at Huntington, WV (WA)

 Fall:  Casual Migrant from early October to early November. Only September record: one on 18 September 2006 at Athalia, Lawrence Co., OH (HS).  Early dates, one on 02 October 1988 at Kyger Creek Power Plant (WA, MG); one on 09 October 2005 at Green Bottom WMA (MG, DP); one from 09 October to 06 November at Green Bottom WMA (MG, DP); one on 13 October 1997 at Huntington, WV (WA).  Late dates, one on 26 November 1996 at South Point, Lawrence Co., OH (HS, RS); one on 11 November 1997 at Huntington, WV (HS).
