WARBLERS

Northern Waterthrush  Seiurus noveboracensis

WINTER:  NO RECORDS.

SUMMER:  Accidental.  One banded (MK) on 24 August 1965 at Ona, Cabell Co., WV (Kiff et al. 1986).

MIGRATION:

 Spring:  Rare Migrant from late April to mid-May.  Early dates, 23 April 1964 (WA); 25 April 1961 (WA); 27 April 1996 (HS).  Edeburn et al. (1960) cites an extreme early date of 24 March 1948.  Late dates, two banded (CK) on 27 May 1967 at McClintic WMA (Smith 1996); 24 May 2008 (WA, MG); one banded on 22 May 1984 (HS) at Huntington, Cabell Co., WV; 20 May 2000 (MF, JF).

 Fall:  Casual Migrant from mid-September to early October.  Early dates, 12 September 1953 (Edeburn et al. 1960); five banded (RY) on 13 September 1963 at McClintic WMA (Smith 1996).  Late dates, 14 October 1969 (HS); 06 October 2004 (KK, MP, PS, HW, SW); 04 October 1953 (Edeburn et al. 1960).
