WINTER: Accidental. One on 19 February 1992 at Beech Fork State Park, responded to Screech Owl tape (WA). One from 09 January 1993 to 23 March 1994 at Huntington, WV (Keatley 1993).
SUMMER: NO RECORDS.
MIGRATION:
Spring: Casual Migrant from early May to mid-May. Early dates, 27 April 1992 (WA); 02 May 2003 (WA). Late dates, one banded on 30 May 1971 (JS) (Handley 1976); 15 May 1960 (Edeburn et al. 1960).
Fall: Casual Migrant from early to mid-September. Early dates, 01 September 1952 (Edeburn et al. 1960) and 2007 (GR); 03 September 2006 (WA, MG, MO, DP). Late dates, one collected on 03 November 1954 (Edeburn et al. 1960); one on 15 (WA, MG) and 22 (MG, DP) October 2005; 21 September 2008 (GR); 18 September 1988 (WA, MG, AT); 14 September 1968 (HS).
