MIGRATION:
Spring: Fairly Common to Common Migrant from late March to early May. Early dates, 12 March 1993 in Mason Co., WV (WA, MK); three on 15 March 2003 (MG, DP) and 2008 (WA, MG, MO, DP) at Byrd Locks & Dam; 20 March 1940 (Edeburn et al. 1960). Late dates, one on 28 May 2006 (KK, PS) and two on 28 May 2008 (WA, MG) at Byrd Locks & Dam; one on 26 May 2008 at Byrd Locks & Dam (WA, MG, DP); four on 25 May 2003 at Byrd Locks & Dam (WA, DP); one on 21 May 1973 at Barboursville, Cabell Co., WV (HS); two on 16 May 2007 at Byrd Locks & Dam (WA, DP); two on 11 May 1969 at Kyger Creek Power Plant (HS). Fall: Uncommon to Fairly Common Migrant from early September to early November.
