SUMMER: NO RECORDS.
MIGRATION:
Spring: Uncommon Migrant from February into May. About 1,000 seen on 04 April 1987 in Cabell and Mason Cos., WV, during a heavy snowstorm (WA). Late dates, one on 22 May 2006 at Byrd Locks & Dam (WA, MG); 17 May 1948 (Edeburn et al. 1960); four on 09 May 2004 at Gallipolis Ferry, Mason Co., WV (WA, MG).
Fall: Uncommon Migrant from early October to late November (see Winter section). Common to Very Common in October and November in some years. Early dates, 15 September 1955 (Edeburn et al. 1960); ten on 27 September 1997 at Byrd Locks & Dam ( WA, KP); one on 27 September 2004 at Proctorville, Lawrence Co., OH (MG).
