REMARKS:
Restoration Programs: West Virginia began releasing live-trapped Wild Turkey in the late 1940's (Hall 1983). This program was completed in 1989. Ohio released live-trapped Wild Turkey from 1956 to 1963 (personal communication, Ohio Division of Wildlife). Initial CBC records occurred on the 1987 Ona CBC and the 1989 Huntington CBC.
