WINTER:  NO RECORDS.

SUMMER:  Accidental.  One "immature" on 30 July 1994 at Green Bottom WMA (WA); one "adult" on 09 August 1987 at Kyger Creek Power Plant (WA, MG).

MIGRATION:

 Spring:  Casual Visitant.  Five records.  One "adult" on 01 April 1989 at McClintic WMA (photographed, WA, MG); one on 16 April 1966 at McClintic WMA (GH) (Hall 1983); one on 19 April 1997 at Green Bottom WMA (DP); one "immature" from 06 May to 08 May 1991 at Green Bottom WMA (WA, C. Heilman); one "immature" on 24 May 1997 at Byrd Locks & Dam (WA, KP).

 Fall:  Accidental.  One "immature" on 17 September 1983 at McClintic WMA (JLS) (Smith 1996).

REMARKS:  An "immature" Night-Heron, species questionable, on 24 July 1988 at Point Pleasant, WV (photographed, WA).
