WINTER: Casual Visitant. Five records, all single birds. 05 December 1979 (HS); 30 December 1950 (Edeburn et al. 1960); 11 January 1992 (WA). One each on the 1997 Ona CBC and 1998 Huntington CBC.
SUMMER: Common to Very Common Resident.
MIGRATION:
Spring: Common Migrant from mid-April to early May. Early dates, 02 March 2008 (SA); 10 April 1954 (Edeburn et al. 1960); 14 April 2010 (WA, MG); 15 April 2001 (GR); 16 April 2009 (MKE, JN) and 2011 (MG); 17 April 1969 (HS) and 2006 (GR); 18 April 2004 (MG, HS) and 2008 (MKE, JN).
Fall: Common Migrant departing from late September to early October. Late dates, one male on 26 (MG, DP) and 28 (DP) November 2010; one on 24 November 2005 (DP); one 07 November 1974 (HS); 22 October 2011 (MG, DP); 14 October 1968 (HS); two banded on 11 October 1984 at Ona, Cabell Co., WV (LW).
